Coterie was built around a simple idea: that every resident deserves a clean, well-kept home and a landlord who actually picks up the phone. Too often, renting means deferred maintenance, slow responses, and a management company that's nowhere to be found when things break.

We set out to change that. Our properties across Pittsburgh and the Mon Valley are maintained to a standard we're genuinely proud of. We hire the right people, fix problems fast, and operate with transparency.

My name is Kennedy, and I founded Coterie because I believe Mon Valley communities deserve better than what most property management companies offer. I've seen too many good buildings gradually lose their character — and too many good tenants leave — simply because maintenance stopped being a priority and nobody followed through.

Coterie is my answer to that. I'm actively investing in Charleroi's downtown — not just managing properties, but working to make McKean Ave the kind of main street people are proud to live on. Every building we take on is one I'm willing to put my name behind.

We don't manage hundreds of units across multiple cities. We manage a focused set of buildings in communities we genuinely care about. That means every property gets attention, every resident gets a name, and every maintenance request goes to someone who will actually follow through.

Our team includes experienced maintenance staff and a leasing team that will walk you through a unit honestly and help you figure out if a space is the right fit — no pressure, no sales pitch.

Charleroi & Pittsburgh's
South Side corridor

Our Charleroi properties are anchored along McKean Ave — downtown Charleroi's main street and the heart of a neighborhood actively being reinvested. Brick mixed-use buildings, walkable blocks, local businesses downstairs and apartments above.

Pittsburgh's South Side is 30 miles north and well-connected via the Mon Valley Expressway. We operate in the space between: communities with real character, lower costs of living, and more room to build something lasting.
